Disaster

1 Hour Response Times

When disaster strikes, timely response is critical. Whether it be placing tarps or shrink-wrapping open buildings, the quicker the property can be "weathered in" the better. Buildings left open to the elements are subject to further damage from continuing weather events and are prime targets for bad actors. Our disaster response teams can be on-site, nationwide, within 1 hour of dispatch (for those properties in our First Response Program).

Moreover, most property & casualty insurance policies require policyholders to take reasonable action to limit the damage caused by a covered peril. Failure to act timely may result in limited or denied coverage, leaving you and your stakeholders out to dry in the event of a large loss.

Shrink Wrap

Shrink Wrap

Upon site arrival, CRS crews can apply tarps or even shrink wrap entire building where storm damage has left the structure open to the elements. Shrink wrapping a building can create a weather-proof barrier that can last months while your property claim is fully assessed, ensuring that future damage is mitigated and that evidence is left undisturbed so that you can be fully indemnified for the loss.

Content Displacement

When a loss leaves the building exposed to external elements and risk, the need to protect the property inside the building becomes paramount. When location control or site security is not enough, our teams can relocate physical assets to on or off-site, temporary storage locations while mitigation and restoration work gets completed.
