Our founder first worked as a laborer for a local roofing company, learning the basics of asphalt roof construction and restoration.
While in law school, Adam Johnson clerked for a construction litigation firm. Mr. Johnson was able to work on large, multi-state and multi-party litigation involving defect claims between various contractors.
Our company was founded and started as a storm damage restoration contractor. The company quickly gained experience dealing with insurers, policyholders, and the process of adjusting property and causualty losses. Throughout our history, we have seen the good, bad, and the ugly when it comes to the insurance claim industry.
We were awarded our first public contract by Minnehaha County in South Dakota. The project involved the restoration of a 20,000 sq ft facility that was being used as a youth drug treatment facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
A category 5 hail storm hit Denver and surrounding communities in May of 2017. Our flagship project from this storm was a hotel in Aurora, Colorado. The restoration included the complete demolition & rebuild of the roof and facade.
In June of 2017, Bellevue, Nebraska was impacted by an EF-2 tornado, followed weeks later by a category 5 hail storm that impacted 4 separate tracks in Omaha, Nebraska. We spent more than a year assisting in property claims and restoration resulting from these events.
In August of 2020, the Midwest was hit with a powerful derecho storm, causing an estimated $11 billion in property losses. The most significantly impacted areas were located in eastern Iowa and northern Illinois. Our teams spent more than a year helping manage claims and restore properties throughout the affected areas.
In June of 2022 a category 4 hail storm impacted large areas of Nebraska, including Beatrice, Lincoln, and Nebraska City, along with small communities in Iowa near the Nebraska/Iowa border. Business districts were particularly impacted, causing voluminous commercial property claims. Our flagship project included a 14 building large apartment complex near 42nd and Grover Streets in Omaha.
