Annual Site Inspection

Buildings enrolled in the First Response Program are physically inspected at lesat once a year and sometimes more depending on your service level. Regular physical site inspections are a crucial aspect of maintaining the safety, functionality, and value of commercial buildings. These inspections involve a thorough examination of the building's roof structure and overall condition to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement and allows JRS technicians to remedy small issues before they evolve into larger problems.

What Does a Physical Site Inspection Include?

1. Roof Assessment: Overview examination of the building's roofing surface - a visual inspection of items such as adherence, seam integrity, flashing presense, etc...
2. Non-Invasive Moisture Detection: Equipment guided moisture probing to determine areas of the roofing surface that may be compromised by water infiltration.
3. Invasive Metering: Any area of the roof surface indicating possibility for water infiltration must be examined by taking core samples to confirm the presence or absence of moisture.
4. Accessory Components: Visual examination of all roofing accessories, such as ballast systems, coping, capping, curbs, etc...
5. Photo Reports: Every inspection yields a photo report of all testing results.

Your JRS account manager will notify you or your designated contacts in advance of every inspection - no need to calendar dates or schedule appointments. Site inspections may be completed in as little as 1 hour, depending on the size of the property, and deliverable reports are sent within 72 hours of inspection. Unless requested, client presence during inspections is not necessary.
